One of our recent projects is featured in "This Old House" Magazine. We
remodeled a 1940's cottage in Newport Beach. Starting with only 1,224 sq. ft., we
added 775 sq. ft., while maintaining the cozy feel of the original home.

Only the finest materials and custom workmanship were used
to bring the plan of the architects and the dreams of the owners to life.

The home owners love to cook and entertain, and so we were very happy to create
this beautiful kitchen using their vintage 1950's Chambers stove and Calacata Gold
marble countertops. The island is topped with iroko, a sustainably harvested hardwood.

In addition to adding the much needed square footage, we also utilized every available space for extra storage.

G & S Builders takes pride in their woodwork. We built these custom
cabinets on site to fulfill the homeowner's truly custom requirements.

Here a classic tub is a great compliment to a state of the art steam/shower inclosure.
